My friend and I have been in London before, so we mostly avoided the bigger museums. We visited the V&A, but sadly the Mary Quant Exhibition was sold out. We still got a peek from above… We also went into the Tate Modern for a very quick visit – and to warm up a bit.
We also went to Harrods ( the perfumery on the 6. floor is heaven, but not for my purse), to Liberty, i stocked up on tea at Fortums and Masons (the Lady Grey tea is excellent) and to Carnaby Street and Chinatown. We had nice dinners at the Dehli Grill, the Afghan Kitchen and nice Ramen, all in Islington and some good pints of IPA at the pub. And a gigantic fish ´n chips at the Borough Market. We walked along the Queens Walk, along the Regents Channel to Camden Lock, but the market there has become a tourist trap, not worth a visit.
